Balaam

Balaam is a non-Israelite biblical prophet whose story appears in the book of Numbers. As the Israelites are wandering in the desert, the Moabite King Balak pays him to curse the Israelites. Balaam, however, is only able to speak the words that God puts in his mouth and ends up blessing the Israelites instead.
