Torah of the Mothers (a title based on Proverbs 1:8) is a 21st-century collection of essays and teachings by 23 Orthodox women Torah scholars and educators. The work consists of four sections: essays by women reflecting upon teachers who have personally influenced and inspired them, readings of biblical texts, readings of rabbinic texts, and essays on the themes of exile and redemption in Jewish texts or Jewish history.
