פלשׁ ᴵᴵ to open through; penetrate, invade.
    — Qal. - פָּלַשׁ he invaded, intruded.
    — Pi. - פִּלֵּשׁ PBH 1 he opened through, dug through; NH 2 he made a passage through.
    — Pu. - פֻּלַּשׁ was opened through, was dug through.
    — Hiph. - הִפְלִישׁ he caused to invade. [Aram.–Syr. פְּלַשׁ (= he broke through, dug), Arab. fallasa (= he cleft, split), Akka. palāshu (= to dig through), pilshu (= hole). cp. the related base בלשׁ.] Derivatives: פַּלְשָׁן, פַּלְשָׁנִי, פִּלּוּשׁ, פָּלִישׁ, פְּלִישָׁה, פּוֹלֵשׁ, מִפְלָשׁ, מְפֻלָּשׁ. cp. פַלָּשִׁים.
