אבך to rise (smoke), to raise clouds of dust.
    — Qal - אָבַךְ prob. meaning ‘it rose’ (said esp. of smoke).
    — Pi. - אִבֵּךְ it rolled up, billowed (said esp. of smoke).
    — Pu. - אֻבַּךְ 1 was rolled up, was billowed (said esp. of smoke); MH 2 was perplexed, was confused.
    — Hith. - הִתְאַבֵּךְ was rolled up, was billowed (a hapax legomenon in the Bible, occurring Is. 9:17 in the form יִתְאַבְּכוּ).
